NetBeans 6.0 looks more and more interesting. I am eagerly waiting M5, with editor enhancements.
If NetBeans 6.0 includes in the future automatic background compilation (bypassing annoying work-stopping ANT compilation), then it could lead me to think about switching.
As excited as I was about the M4, I have to report that 5.5 will be with us for a while. M4 has a nasty bug and I was unable to even start it.
Acording to the tracker in netbeans.org it wasn’t only me.
Ugly slip for a milestone release, guys.
You’re making it sound like it’s really bad. It worked for me on 3 different machines.
