Did IBM “forget” to open source the Cloudscape JDBC driver when open sourcing the Java database at Apache?
There’s only an embedded driver available on the Apache Web Site…
… and a “Universal Driver” on IBM’s web site.

You need to dig around on the IBM BD2 site fo thr Universal Driver.
To my point – the JDBC driver was not open sourced. It’s a little like Open Sourcing Star Office, only not the file format… I guess I need to read the IBM DB2 Universal License.
