I’ve been monitoring and occasionally posting to the Sun Java Studio Creator forum. Great place to get help from Tor (great blog), Edwin (great Wiki), and many others. What’s interesting with forums is to see when the community starts to really contribute. A recent example is the JBoss folks posting a HOWTO “Develop and deploy to JBoss” tutorial to their Wiki. This covers rather simple things like JSTL/JSF settings and port changes.
While Creator comes with Sun’s AppServer 8 for the sake of simplicity (but note you can use it for free for deployment also), you can deploy any Creator-generated application in a J2EE 1.3-and-above application server (a JSF requirement actually).
